Forum of associations in Paris:
The beginning of September is always an important event in the associative life, it is indeed the traditional appointment of the forum of associations.
It is undoubtedly a moment awaited by all, both on the side of associations since it is the public showcase of the year, and on the side of members because by browsing the aisles they can discover new activities.
The ACF did not hesitate for long! The possibility of holding a stand while the association is still so young was an opportunity not to be missed. It was also an opportunity to meet a much wider audience than at our last events. Suddenly, the practice of fine opening was no longer a marginal practice reserved for a small circle of connoisseurs, but a leisure activity eager to reach as many people as possible.
This is how about thirty people visited us throughout the day. The two animators present at the stand were able to answer their questions and perform crocheting demonstrations for the most curious.
A few membership forms have left, and the ACF has greatly gained visibility. Already well established in the11th arrondissement of Paris thanks to our partnership with La Ressourcerie, we are now well anchored in the panorama of the district.
We cannot thank the mayor of Paris enough for giving us this opportunity. The associative sector is much more present in our lives than we think, even proving vital in some areas.
Let’s not forget that the majority of our activities and leisure activities depend directly on associations and volunteers who often give their time without counting! Benefiting from such visibility for a day is already a reward in itself, since we have the opportunity to discover our passion.
Whether it’s your ping-pong classes on Thursday nights, your marauding with the Red Cross, or your Saturday afternoons knitting, know that there are hundreds of passionate people working to offer you these opportunities and share them with you. The forum of associations is a fair return of things for all these volunteers.
Many new events will be coming this year. This first forum is only the beginning of a beautiful and long adventure!
